Meng Luo-ming
Professor, supervisor of doctor student, Metarnet chairman of the board and general manager, director of the State Key Laboratory of Networking and Switching Technology, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, chairman of National Network Management Standards Section, expert of the State 863 Communication Technology Plan group, director of Computer Society of China, selected as ChangJiang Chair Professor Scholars in Ministry of Education Talent Development Program, won the Outstanding Young Scientists Prize, was awarded the National Expert for significant contribution and Beijing model glorious title.

Professor Meng completed more than 10 distinguished projects, including State 863 research, the National Natural Science Foundation, major research in departments and has achieved breakthrough results in analysis and modeling of network management, network management system architecture, Multi-vendor network environment management, network management interface testing theory and technology, and other fields. He obtained praise and concern by foreign counterparts, more than 10 provincial-level scientific and technological awards, and have two hospitable meetings with President of China.

Qi Feng
Professor, Metarnet deputy manager and chief engineer, vice chairman of ITUŁ­T SG4, senior member of the China Electronic Society.

Qi Feng chaired or participated in a number of network management areas in the national, provincial and ministerial projects. Science and Technology Prize of provincial level or above has been awarded to him more than 8 times.

As ITU-TSG4 expert and project leader, Qi chaired over the completion of series research in the virtual private network (VPN) management of business. The series manuscripts in the study of management of the VPN -- as proposal of China had been submitted to the International Telecommunication Union (ITU-T) -- were adopted as international standards and the standard number are M.3208.3 M.3108.3. This is the first time that Chinese has systematically complete business solution for a class of network management in the field of academic and practical application, and has been recognized and accepted by ITU-T . In addition, this is the first proposal raised by China and adopted as an international standard.
